Our History and Staff SUSAN SCHOONOVER, CDA & BILL SCHOONOVER, LCSW, CADC Susan and Bill Schoonover met over 40 years ago at Syracuse University. They married in 1966 and have two children. They have worked and studied with well-known educators and in the field of therapy, counseling, couples, addiction and family therapy. The team approach that they have developed is unique therapeutic approach to working with couples and families.

Susan and Bill are the founders and directors of the Couples Counseling Center located in Watchung, New Jersey. The Center offers individual, couples, and group therapy in addition to workshops and retreats. Susan and Bill are certified in Imago Therapy, Social Work, and Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Bill is also a private clinician for the NFL.
